IDB Bahamas loans total 273M

The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) has registered "significant growth" in its 2015 loans to The Bahamas and the five other countries that make up the Caribbean Country Department (CCB) -- Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica, Suriname and Trinidad and Tobago -- with US$557.2 million in loans approved and US$351.3 million disbursed during the year.

Jarrett: Inflation data shows GDP overstated

The All-Bahamas consumer price index (CPI) showed inflation averaged 3.7 percent for July through September 2011, according to an analyst vigilantly following the key indicator of consumer buying power.
